A national home services company keeps hiring 30 techs a week with 15 recruiters instead of 25
JC's Pick One I'd point a client to first.
Same 30 hires a week with 10 fewer recruiters
What they did
Technicians are in customers' homes all day and can't take a recruiter's call. Written assessments had about a 50% completion rate. An AI voice interviewer now runs first-round screens around the clock, so candidates interview when they're free, and recruiters get the recording before they call.
How to copy it
- Let candidates do the first screen by voice, on their schedule, instead of a written test.
- Keep the human recruiter for the second conversation, armed with the recording.
- Track completion rate. If half your applicants never finish screening, that's the leak.
Opens with a prompt already filled in. It asks about your shop first, then plans the setup for you.
The vendor didn't name the company. We include it because the numbers are specific, but treat it with that in mind.
